The rock is basalt conglomerate and a little washing over the years and river water. Most routes are single pitch sport with some bouldering thrown in.
hey must reach the Plaza de Putaendo, a village located about 15 kms north of San Felipe. From the Plaza de Putaendo to the climbing area there are 26.5 kms. From the Plaza de Putaendo must go to Town Hall, which is one way that gets to the slope with a lot of curves. The climbing area is in the bed of a river which is on the north side of the road. There are a lot of parking spots. In the picture you can see where to park and google earth coordinates to arrive. From the parking lot you go down to the riverbed that are no more than five minutes down.
