Crag features

Known as Piedra Blanca on google. This is a small set of short crags that are partially bolted on the road up to the summit of Cerro Otto. The rock is a bit crumbly in places but there are some good lines, with great views and certainly worth an afternoon or two. There are more fours and fives on here than in the crags in Bariloche Vertical.

A great little bouldering crag also exists near Refugio Berghof. A topo exists if you speak to the people at Entropía Escalada (where a bouldering mat can also be hired).

Approach notes

Take the road from Bariloche to Cerro Otto and at the third hairpin turn, there is a small dirt road going straight on. Take this to a small parking area, next to Torre Grande. Torre Uno is a bit further on. Two minutes from the car park, 40 minutes from the Bariloche road when walking. The guidebook is available at Club Andino in town (where you can also buy the other guidebooks for the area).

For the bouldering area you need to get to the refugio and ask there, they are very happy to help and it's very hard to find alone.
