Micro-crag near Banwell, Somerset. 7 metres high slab of geologically interesting rock, it appears to be Clifton Down Limestone which has some red conglomerate in it's lower sections, fairly solid though. It was probably a very old quarry. A worthwhile place to spend an hour on a summer evening, tree belays at the top.
No known problems with access. The crag is on the western end of Banwell Hill 0.5 Km south of the A371 at Knightcott on the lane to Yarberry. Limited parking by the crag, some better spaces along the lane past the Cattery.
