Crag features

a good bloc of natural sandstone above hopkinstown, few good crimpy uplines and some traverses.

Approach notes

Blaenhenwysg and Rhiw-yr-uchain Turn right on the A4058 between Hopkinstown and Trehafod under a low bridge, hundred meters past the Holybush pub in Hopkinstown. After the bridge turn left, on the right is a lane that leads up to the outcrop. Parking's is possible on the main road before turning into the lane. On foot walk up the lane until it leads to a dirt track, follow this until you come to a fork in the path. The left fork is fenced off, through which lies a 2" diameter pipe leading up the hillside. Follow the pipe by going through the gate (and cattle grid) at the start of the right fork, making sure the gate is closed properly, rejoin the left fork to follow the pipe up the hillside until some outcrops are visible up on the horizon on your left amongst the trees.

Countryside Park Turn left on the A4058 between Hopkinstown and Trehafod over a small bridge, 400m past the Holybush pub in Hopkinstown. Follow the unmetalled track rightward for approximately 300m to the wall. (from south wales bouldering)
