Crag features
Ulvanosa (1248m) is a mountain located to the southwest of the Folgefonna ice cap in the southwest of Norway. Its northeasterly aspects present impressive walls of granite sweeping down to the farmed valley of Uskedalen. Routes from 100m - 860m long on excellent rock, with much scope for further development.

Approach notes
Mostly between 20 minutes and 1 hour's walk from the road. There is a campsite in the nearby village of Uskedal, or limited car camping at the Øktertindveggen parking spot. The approach to the Øktertind wall involves crossing a full-on swamp, but it is also the best sector at n6 and above. Take appropriate footwear and a tick removal implement.
Descent is usually made by continuing to the summits and walking down the hikers' path into Uskedal. The shorter routes on the Vetletind pillar, and a couple of lines on the Øktertind wall, have abseil descents. Many of the most popular routes are clustered around these.
