Crag features
Serres is a great crag in close proximity to Thessaloniki. Climbing is possible all year round.
Three crags are described here:
Eptamyloi - newly developed crag (2011) with many hard routes on big overhangs.
Mikros Viros - located 7 km northeast of the city of Serres. Most of the routes are small bouldery routes and you can repeat all of them with a 50m rope and 8-10 quickdraws.
Prive - located 8 km northeast of Serres. Despite its SE orientation, being at an altitude of 500m and the proximity to the canyon Prodromos, it is ideal even during hot summer afternoons.
