Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 321m a.s.l

Crag features

A small buttress located in the secluded valley of Bransdale. There isn't much to go at but the rock is excellent with routes reaching up to six metres. Can be done as highball boulder problems. The stake which was above has been removed.

Approach notes

Take the main road entering Bransdale's east side by driving through the villages of Fadmoor or Gillamoor. After about 6 miles park at a layby entering the valley at grid reference SE 629966 opposite a public bridleway. Follow this up onto the moor then break off along the edge for about 5 minutes where the crag is inconspicuous down on your left in line with a wall coming up between two farms below.

On open access moorland but strictly no dogs at all.

No Access Issues

On open access moorland but can be closed at certain times of the year. Strictly no dogs.
