Rocktype Sandstone (soft)

Crag features

The rocks lie to the east of High Rocks and are a continuation of the High Rocks outcrop. Friezland Wood surrounds the Continuation Wall which is owned by the Woodland Trust and subsequently has designated it as a ‘site of special scientific interest’ (SSSI) which results in a total climbing ban here.

The rocks are mainly lower than the neighboring High Rocks and are becoming very much overgrown with the exception of one or two areas that would offer some quality outings if climbing were permitted.

Access Banned

It is owned by the Woodland Trust. Climbing is not permitted but the wood is open for general public access.
