Hill features

Extremely complex mountain (actually, a collection of summits), its most striking feature being the 1 mile wide N face, ovelooking the Leschaux glacier. The face itself is quite complex, and can be divided in seven subsectors. The most prominent features of the face are however the twi Walker and Croz spur, the Great Couloir in between and the Linceuil (Shroud) hanging snowfield on the extreme L of the face.

Approach notes

Approach from Torino Hut via Rochefort Ridge and Calottes du Rochefort to the Col du Jorasses. Can also approach from the Leschaux Hut, 3 hours up from Montenvers.
