Brown Howe Slab Topo © tommccluskey
A good beginner's venue with easily set up top ropes on some pleasant easy routes. Unfortunately there are no useful gear placements on the crag so it is only good for top roping or short solos. It has been climbed on by groups from local outdoor centres for years but has not yet been documented (as far as I'm aware)
Turn into the gravel U, 100m south of the National Trust car park at Brown Howe and park immediately. The entrance to the quarry is obvious on your left. Walk round the barrier and there is an easy path to the top of the clean slab around the corner on your left.
