Rocktype Quartzite
Altitude 9m a.s.l
Faces SE
Check tides and weather first as ledge can get covered at high spring tides.
Moderate scramble down and SW (left if you are facing into the cliff face) or abseil to the ledge.
Some of the routes suffer from seepage and some from an amount of guano due to nesting birds. But the rock quality is good.
The main wall of the crag has a large ledge just above high tide. There are three square chimneys splitting the face, the left and cental (facing the cliff) chimneys are deep cut and obvious. The right-hand chimney is less well defined (hardly to be called a chimney really). The face is two-tiered with the lower tier being overhung for the majority of its length.
Park either at the Chasms car park or at the end of the Glen Chass Road (minimal parking space) and walk in. Then scramble (moderate) or abseil down to ledge.
Don't climb during bird nesting season (Mid-March until the end of June usually)
