A great collection of walls and blocks giving some excellent routes and problems on very good rock.
The crag is on Private Land though the owners are happy to allow climbing but like to know when there are people present so ask that you request permission. Please visit the second house - Maud's Farm( the one with the brown windows). Dogs only if on a lead please. No large groups and please keep noise down. Do not access this crag from the National trust estate.
The name of the house is Beacon Lodge. As said, it's the one nearest the crag - just through a second gate (probably open). Simon Caldwell - 16/Jul/16 |

ACCESS UPDATE: The Owners of the crag have moved to the house next to Grapha house (essentially the house nearest the crag, not the road, I can't remember its name). Permission must, therefore, be sought from them.
(Shame the brand new guide book is already out of date). jimorothy - 20/Feb/14 |
