The Helm, also known as the Tithe Peña, is a ridge of the Sierra de Guadarrama (belonging to the Central System). It is the most important of the Pedriza, a prominent area of this mountain, and one of the highest in the Pedriza Previous with a height of 1717 meters. Located in the town of Manzanares el Real, in the northwest of the Community of Madrid (Spain).
This is a huge plate of granite pink and is the center of attraction for many climbers. This ridge is the most colorful of all the Pedriza seen from the south and is shaped like a medieval helmet.
