Crag features
Small limestone crag equipped in 2019 with 6 routes from 5c to 7a+. In addition the Spigolo della Bandiera via ferrata.
Approach notes
In San Michele (a village above Gardone above Lake Garda) you can park at the Colomber Hotel where a number of hiking trails start. The usual approach follows the CAI 201 path (becoming the 1) up the Barbarano stream towards Rifugio Pirlo allo Spino and Passo Spino. It is possible to drive up the dirt road from San Michele, saving 3km (and 200m altitude) of approach.For the Via Ferrata della Bandiera turn left at Cascina Germelle (950m altitude) where there should be a signpost to the Via Ferrata, and left again after another 200m onto a small path to reach the start.
For the climbs at Passo Spino the approach up the 201 (above) is usual but it is also possible to follow a forrestry track up the ridge more directly to Passo Spino.
