5 bolted routes towards the left section of the cliff 8-12m high. Plenty of bouldering all along the crag, which leads out towards the right. Lot of traversing with soft sand beneath for a safe landing. Better to climb at low tide otherwise you'll end up with wet feet, and soggy pumps.
Crag can be seen from the tall bridge of Jalan Labuhan Sait (road near Uluwatu). Looking down to the beach and the surfers, the crag is on the left hand side; a large orange wall overhanging the beach impossible to miss. Park at the carpark on the road and make your way by foot using the narrow staircase carved out from inbetween a large crack in the rock on the opposite side of the beach.
Spent a few hours at this crag yesterday. Took some pics so I'll do my best to create some basic topos. Didn't have any gear to cling the sport routes and even if I did, I'm nowhere near qualified enough to grade the routes! elliottwhite - 10/Oct/19 |

Hi there! I'm heading to Bali in a few days and staying near this crag for part of my trip - does anyone know if there's anywhere nearby that I can hire gear (harness, rope, draws etc)? I'm taking my shoes and chalk but don't fancy carting all of my stuff over, as tempting as it is! Thanks, Elliott elliottwhite - 25/Sep/19 |
