An impressive crag above the Valserine gorge. Many routes between 10 and 35m with a few multipitch climbs. Climbs from 4-7c+ along with some aid routes under the big roofs. Best range in 6s. The roofs also keep many parts of the crag dry in the rain.
This page is incomplete. Topo's can be bought locally for example Cortigrimpe01 in Saint-genis-pouilly.
Park just after Champfromier on the right. Follow a 4x4 track across a field and down a hill into the woods. The track becomes a path, follow for 10 mins down steep steps to emerge at the bottom of the left hand side of the cliff.
We managed to climb here at the start of December in the rain! Big roofs kept the crag dry. Amazing. bigbobbyking - 05/Dec/11 |
