The Old Man of Mixta. © deepstar

Crag features

Originally called "The Old Man of Mixta" in the 1970 guide, this is the only seastack we have in the Maltese Islands. The Maltese name "Il-Mara" means "The Woman" which is a reflection of the shape of this buttress.

Approach notes

Rock steps from the quarry in the cliff lead down to the base from where the climbs start.
