A small crag with a couple of interesting Sectors and some less inspiring stuff in between. The routes are generally quite short but they are often steep and action packed. The rock is rough. Pretty much the standard Spanish conditions apply here, the cliff is sheltered and sunny at the same time, a great venue when the weather is cold and too hot form most in warm conditions. The place tends to be popular with locals at weekends.

From Vilafranca del Penedes (J28-30 on the A7) follow the N340 and locate the minor road that runs back over the motorway to the tiny village of Moja. Just after leaving Moja turn right (signed 'DALTMAR') and follow the road uphill to a dirt track on the left, just before the high point of the road. Drive down the track (slippery after rain) for 0.8km and park on the right (cairn in front of a pine tree) before the power lines, or a little further on. Follow a vague path through the woods to the cliff edge and locate a ramp with fixed rope. At the bottom of this turn left (facing out) to reach the start of the cliff.
Warning!! Approach is littered with processionary caterpillars. Nests in every pine tree. (February) These cause skin irritations and can be fatal to dogs! Scottthedog - 17/Feb/22 |
