Crag features

Ciezkowice is known as the 'Fossilized Town' reserve is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the Ciezkowice Borough. It was established in 1974 and takes up an area of 15 hectares. The name of the reserve has been adopted from folk legends, according to which a fortified town that existed here a long time ago petrified with its inhabitants because of a wicked deed of the town’s ruler. The rocky forms found here have their own names, most often connected with their shapes: 'The Witch', 'The Town Hall', 'Strongholds', 'Badgers', etc. The legends make the town mysterious and the rocks come to life.
