A great little peak between Panticosa and Escarrilla. Merche is the classic of the area (Capricornio at Forronias excluded) and has 5 good pitches on mostly solid rock with a few sections of easy aid. It is well equipped on both the ascent and descent.

From Panticosa take the jeep track towards Lanuza until you reach a large water pipe crossing the track. Turn right here and walk alongside the pipe for about 80m. You will then see a cairned track leading off left through the wood (you have to duck under the pipe); follow this to the base of the climb.
