Crag features

A small quarried gritstone/sandstone walls, mainly about 6m high, perhaps best suited to soloing. The highest routes may be tackled high ball with a mat although can be led conventionally (with a normal rack of small-medium cams and wires).

The crag is sheltered and quick-drying. A short walk to the right there is also another tiny craglet with a mantelshelf problem and optional drystone wall top-out.

Although full descriptions are given it may be best to just go there with an exploratory approach and discover for yourself.

A moron had recently cemented many of the holds on the main wall traverse and made an absolute mess! The starting moves of a couple of routes were completely altered. It has been suggested this may have been the land-owner aiming to discourage  climbing but this has definitely been done by a boulderer with no regard for ethics since footholds just above the ground were modified and handholds "sculpted" to various profiles. The cement has now been chiselled off and the holds are back to their original condition.

Approach notes

Keep a low profile by not parking in the nearby passing space - locate a more distant parking spot and walk 10 mins up the lane.
