Climbs 5
Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 150m a.s.l
Faces SW
At the top of the steep north bank in a nice woodland area - most climbs would be a trad lead but potential for some interesting highball problems. As the rock is sandstone, protect the rock from 'ropewear' if top roping. Oh and watch out for the ants!
From Hexham's B6305 (Priestpopple), turn up the B6306 by the Tap and Spile Pub, before taking a right turn up Dipton Mill Road. Follow this road until reaching Dipton Mill and park opposite the pub in the large layby.
