Crag features

All the walls in the Clegir section of North Wales Bouldering, which covers the area of hillside on the south side of Llyn Padarn between Llanberis and Cwm y Glo. The problems in the Glyn Rhonwy section are included in Gideon Quarries.

Many of the problems here are a bit esoteric, but scattered amongst them are some decent local gems.

Approach notes

The lower walls are best accessed from the main road between Llanberis and Cwm y Glo, while the higher walls are reached more easily from the single track road which runs parallel to it higher up the hill.

No Access Issues

The area is extensive and there is a mixture of access and land owners, some of the area is on CRoW land and has no access issues, however others may be more restricted. As with many of the quarries no access is given by the land owner. Detailed information is available in the North Wales Bouldering Guide Vol 1.

Good moves on the problems I climbed. Not a fan of the rock
