Climbs 400
Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 512m a.s.l
There is a beautiful valley situated to the north-west of Lantenay village, that is really serene and beneficial to any climbers well being. There are numerous small buttresses that sometimes peep out above the trees. Some get overgrown, and others stay overgrown. There are parts however that remain popular and offer very good hard routes mainly in the 6a-8a grades.
Some of the rock is shattered, but the technical moves far outweigh any of the looseness. There is also a lovely plateau at the top which gives a picnic spot with a superb view.
The guidebook "Burgundy on Sight" offers just a very small sample of the most popular climbs that exist at this location.
