Gentle sloping hill to the northwest of Harstad city.
Places of interest include; bomb craters from a Luftwaffe raid during WW2, the summit with its fire pit and a moderatley sized cave system, believed to be a German WW2 munitions store at the extreme northeast end on the small sub-peak of Bergsåsen (113m).
Access to the hill can be gained for the southwest end by the footpath, next to the ATCN (Allied Training Centre North) at Åsegarden on the main road to Kvæfjord/Solia Alpinsenter.
For access to the cave and German bunkers of Bergsåsen access is best by way of the main road to Grytøya, stopping at Vika. A WW2 pill box can be found at the side of the road, the cave and bunker is situated on the north-facing hillside of Bergsåsen.
