Crag features

It is possible to scramble all the way along the bottom of the cliffs with the exception of one or two gullies. There is a very good guidebook:-
"Guernsey Coastal Walks and Scrambles" by Alan Hill (the driving force behind new-routing in the 80's and 90's). This divides the coast into convenient sections of about 2 hours scrambling. Some sections can be linked, but the necessity for dead low water for various crux points means most sections have to be done individually. The routes listed here correspond directly to those in the guidebook. Some may be split into two or more sub-sections as many routes have an 'escape' ascent partway through allowing them to be done on smaller tides, or a crux section to be avoided.
