A small accessible crag near Thirlmere, with a set of mostly hard routes.
Somebody at the FRCC is obviously in training for the World's Biggest Liar Competition. An accessible crag? Joss Naylor in his prime, on steroids, chased by a pack of savage hounds couldn't reach this crag in 10 minutes. If you include the 100m of steep sodden gully to get to the actual routes you can count on about half an hour. And don't expect to enjoy the experience.
the crag is a bit mossy but the footholds are clean enough, did the 2 E1's which were both good with reasonable protection. Deserves more traffic. Dave Ferguson - 22/May/12 |
