This summit is listed in Marilyns hill lists.
This summit has been climbed in 31 logbooks. The Tynrich Slab is a charming, underrated, and understarred slab of crystalline gneiss on an open sunny terrace with typically tranquil views. Delicate and sometimes bold slab climbing provides a good contrast to the burl and brutality of the nearby Ruthven boulder. The Frank Sinatra Walls are steeper and have been climbed on less - deserves more traffic. Other smaller crags are dotted around.
Access to all climbs is easiest from the RSPB carpark as for the Ruthven Boulder.
