A good little single pitch crag in the trees. Grades range from 3-8c, although the best routes are 5c-7a+ or so, mostly on slabs and vertical walls. All the routes harder than 7b seem to be extremely steep boulder problems on drilled pockets.
From Mont-Saxonnex, follow signs for Bonneville. After the chapel in Pincru, turn right following signs to Malsaire. Park on the grass to the left at the end of the road, at the point where it turns into a steeply descending 4x4 track. Avoid parking on the private property in this area.
Dries pretty quickly after rain and climbing is still possible on many routes during light rain due to the trees providing good shelter. WillWambam - 24/Sep/20 |
