An old quarry recently gardened by Wirral Council (Spring 2010). A self contained bouldering venue. Grades range from V0-V3 (4a-6a), a great place for locals to get a quick fix without having to travel too far.
Still under development so keep checking this page for updates.
Check http://doggiedoofiver.wetpaint.com/page/The+Arno for a downloadable topo.
Currently very overgrown with a bed of nettles underneath (May 2020)
No access problems.
Entry into the Arno via the path off Ingestre Road. Just follow the path round to the right and into the quarry.
Also access via Storeton Road. Walk through the rose garden, up the steps and go down the path between the bushes.
