Crag features

The group of buttresses and quarried faces spread out along the northern end of the moor are nicely secluded, feeling well away from the main road. Many of the routes are quite short and a bouldering mat or two will certainly be useful on a day's climbing on the more challenging routes. The effort put in to explore this venue will be rewarded with some really great finds.

The crag is north-facing so sees little sun and hence some routes do attract a healthy veneer of lichen. A stiff brush will be useful when exploring the crag.

Approach notes

From the parking on Straight Lane, follow the marked footpath south through two gates and up to the crag.

The problems in the Lost Delph sector are documented on https://unknownstones.com/2016/05/26/windgate-nick-new-problems/.
