Short and limited in terms of climbs, but perhaps a worthwhile stop when combined with Haytor or Holwell Tor - especially if a bit of shelter is needed.
From the A38 Exeter to Plymouth road, exit at the junction for Bovey Tracey. Drive to Bovey Tracey and pick up signs to Widecombe-in-the-Moor (B3387). Follow these to parking beneath Haytor just beyond the turn-off for Haytor Vale. Approach as for Haytor and continue walking a further 400m northwest to the quarry.
