Approach notes

From Kingsbridge, follow the A379 for 3 miles east to Frogmore where a right turn is signed to East Prawle. Leave East Prawle in the direction of the Prawle Point car park but at the top of the second steep descent, continue across the road onto a muddy track. Turn into the second field on the right and park.

Follow the Coast Path west beyond Elander Cove to the top of a rocky spur jutting seaward. Take a thin path which follows the ridge to a sharp dip and descend a grassy gully on the right side to sea level, then walk east to the crag. Alternatively, at the dip continue following the left side of the rocky ridge until it descends to a point. An in-situ peg is used to abseil down Mental Block.
