Crag features

A steep crag, though routes are also technical. Easy to clean routes if required from solid trees above. Lots of very good fingery bouldering in the 6s and 7s.

Approach notes

No access restictions. Park in the car park and follow the footpath on the right downhill. Go through gate on the left after 100m and cross the field to the crag.

Access Advice

The quarry is in the Jumbles Country Park and there are no access difficulties.

Seasonal Restrictions

Dates: 13 June to 13 July

Reason: Nesting Birds

13 June 2023: reports of blue tits nesting in the route Lace. Avoid this and adjacent routes please.

Tim Greenhalgh and Friends have done a really good job of bringing this crag into the lime light. Well worth a visit, I was surprised how dry it stays in wet weather.
