In 2002 peregrine nested near the top of the route Bowland Wall. Please take care not to disturb the birds if you find them in residence in future years. The quarry is owned by North West Water and it has high botanical interest. Climbers should take care to minimise damage to flora on the cliffs and surrounding areas.

Nice setting, but the rock is not so good, the top is very loose, poor gear placements, pitty, nice wild strawberrys though. Stu Tyrrell - 26/Jun/05 |
