Evening cragging at its best! © ian stewart
Reasonable climbing on slightly disapointing rock, good for an afternoon if you're in the area and don't want to drive too far. Tide tables can be found at http://www.tidetimes.org.uk/portrush-tide-times. Should be able to climb at most tidal states but with a Westerly wind at high tide could be a bit interesting.
The crag is located on the Western edge of the Portrush peninsula roughly behind the Harbour Bar, it can be seen clearly while driving between Portstewart and Portrush. Access is through the park located nearby and the cliff's bottom can be reached by abseil, but protection at the top is limited.
