Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 290m a.s.l

Crag features

An esoteric venue, that has recently been tidied up with old routes cleaned up and some new additions on natural Limestone. The east facing Mindbomb Buttress is on the upper tier (with a cave entrance), and there is also the south-west facing Faust Wall and Tunnel Wall. Little seepage but can become very hot with no shade.

Approach notes

Turn off the A5012 Via Gellia Road and head up the hill towards Ryder Point, before the old quarry gate is reached (and before Arms Lees Farm) is a lay-by with parking for 3 cars. A vague path leads up to the main quarry track. Zigzag up the quarry tracks and Tunnel Wall will come into view above the ventilation level (To Middleton Mine)

For Faust Wall, continue along a good path until a track leads off to the left down into the quarry and head straight back up and continue round the rim until a cairn is reached and a steep slope leads up to the higher tier. Walk along this past the rockfall until Faust is reached. 10 mins from the car.

Do not park near Arm Lees Farm and keep a low profile.

hi there - the 3 "tunnel" routes were all done before and are named - Alan's Route (Escape tunnel), Clocky (Tunnel down)and the Beaten Generation (Tunnel vision)
