A predominantly multi-pitch venue in the Hollental valley. Few single pitch routes.
A guidebook for the Hollental area is available in Weichtalhaus hut, near Kaiserbrunn. The bad news is that it's hand-written in German and costs €30. An older version of this guidbook (2000) can be found in the internet.
Free camping in the whole area is strictly prohibited (water supply for Vienna). There is a camp and camper parking (https://camping.raxalpe.com/) at the cableway station near Hirschwang. Swimming and sunbathing at the Schwarza river is a nice rest option in summer.
Approach notes
Parking, information and accomodation at Weichtalhaus. Parking is also situated at the start of the path leading to the main Hollental valley. It is on the right-hand side of the road, just before the tunnel when driving from Kaiserbrunn. The approach from the parking to the walls vary from 10 mins up to 1.5 hours.
