Crag features

The various cliffs around the headlands and islands of Dungloon provide good quality climbing at all grades. The longest routes are on the Galleon sea stack and are up to 40m in height. Some abseil approaches and some with absail decents, but climbable at nearly all states of tide.

Approach notes

From Moville take the Culdaff road. Approximately 5km from Moville the road forks at Doherty's Bar, take the right fork. Turn right at the Chapel and follow this road for approximately 6km and take the left turn just before the steep hill to the beach. From the end of this road walk north along field edges to the top of the cliffs and take a steep decent path towards the large Galleon sea stack in the bay.
