Crag features

The slightly overhanging wall with mammoths painted on at Carrick. Also some short problems on various boulders dotted around the beach, of particular note black sea boulder (further south from the wall, tidal) and double roof rib (further again from bsb, non tidal).

Carrick wall is quite loose so care needs to be taken if topping out and don't be surprised if holds pop off.

The Mammoth Traverse is good quality and sustained with a hard move at the end. Also worth mentioning is a potential project for someone strong on the double roof, a hard traverse following the rail of crimps below the lip of the rib.

Approach notes

Park at the grassy car park (signpost) and walking South along the beach for two until you see the obvious wall with two red mammoths painted on it.
