Bouldering alongside the Taff trail. Mostly good landings (it's all low anyway), if you manage to avoid the piles of empty Strongbow cans and broken glass.

Park in the layby on the A470 with the picnic area in, jump over the fence and walk north up the Taff Trail until you find the obvious "layby" boulders. Or be less lazy and cycle there.
