Crag features

A big steep crag. The upper non-tidal section has juggy strenuous climbs, the lower section is tidal and rarely climbed. The rock is clean and good. not recommended in rough windy conditions as the crag catches a lot of spray whisked up from the gully below.

Some routes have been done on a small slab capped by an overhang across the big gully from the ridge to Atlantic wall. There are also new routes further down the gully from the slab that aren't listed here yet.

It is possible to jump off the cliff into the sea in the gully by the last of the routes, but the gully is very difficult to get out of - you have to swim round to the northwest end of Atlantic wall, or maybe round onto the seaward face of the crag.

If you submit routes for inclusion here then please include first ascensionist info.

Good topo here.
