Rocktype Slate
Altitude 41m a.s.l
Faces SW
Strictly speaking the rock is phyllite - a slate which has undergone further metamorphosis.
There are three broad ribs facing southwest separated by grassy bays - the east most grassy bay being the decent route. Beyond the left hand rib there is a steep wall on the northern side.
Park at the golf course and walk back along the road to approach the crag fairly directly (10 minutes). The defile of Notanotter is closer too and easily seen from the road - a V slot with a protruding nose in the lower reaches (5 minutes).
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
