General overview of Scout Crag © Craig Geddes
Around 12 metres high this is a worthwhile venue for locals. Split into three buttresses the majority of the routes are on the central buttress but there is scope for harder trad or bolted lines on both the left and right buttresses.
Park in the village and follow the well made zig zag forestry tracks up the hill from behind the Scout Centre.
Came for some trad. Probs best to walk on by to the Padlock up the way a little, leave it to the scouts, we did. philhilo - 07/Apr/23 |

Most of these routes have probably been done previously by locals or instructors from the two outdoor centres in the village. I have put the first ascent as I know it but I happy to change it if someone has a prior claim. Craig Geddes - 20/Mar/10 |
