Britten Crag is situated just outside Christchurch New Zealand, it is predominantly a sport crag but has a small selection of trad lines.
Good topo here.
Access from Longridge Drive, off Mt Pleasant Rd.
Park in Parkridge Place, walk south across the paddock to the pine trees and cross the fence. Mount Pleasant crag is on your left. Britten Crag is on the tier below and further along. A small cairn marks the start of vague sheep tracks - follow these south and slightly downhill until a more defined path is picked up past a 'Climbing Awareness' sign and where rungs are downclimbed. The Zoo is just tucked around the next corner on the left.
Open access. Crags were not affected much by 14 February 2016 earthquake.
please be considerate when parking at Parkridge Place continues to be developed
