Crag entry for icefalls of Val di Susa. The Scale del Moncenisio are some of the most accessible ice climbs from Turin airport. About an hour's drive followed by 10 mins of walking. Perfect venue for Day 1 of an ice holiday.

Approach notes
Actuallythe climbs are in France! Park near the hydro-electric centre. Climbs easily visible from the road. In Jan 2010, husky sled rides operated from house below climbs, so listen for the incessant barking of 20 dogs...
