Esoteric climbing by a beautiful sea arch which forms the southern tip of Devon. Contrary to appearances, the rock is generally sound but protection can be hard won.
From Kingsbridge, follow the A379 for 3 miles east to Frogmore where a right turn is signed to East Prawle. Leave East Prawle in the direction of the Prawle Point car park. Park here and walk down the road to a field. Cross this diagonally making a beeline for the coastguard station. Cross a stile and follow the path to reach the rocky Upper Buttresses.
For the tidal climbs, descend a grassy gully west of the coastguard station all the way to sea level, then boulder hop to the various routes.
