Very Erratic © Steve Perry

Crag features

A huge boulder of reddish gneiss in the dunes behind the beach at Torrisdale. Slabby on its south-east face and impressively steep on the others. Routes and some bouldering.

Approach notes

Walk along the footpath onto the beach from Torrisdale. Car Parking for half dozen cars, with Tourist signage. The boulder is found approximately halfway along the beach, in the grass covered dunes behind (approx NC 695 617).

Didn't climb as surfing, but looks impressive, wee bit gardening might be needed on the slab side, but looks superb and location is amazing. Sutherland at its best.
