First New route in this quarry © Sam Bennett

Crag features

There is no longer any quarrying going on, but there is possibly works going on on the other side of the road.

the rock is very friable and lots of cleaning is needed.

Approach notes

Access is currently not really allowed.

yep your right, The route is on the south wall which they say on the leiscestershire climbs site may be climbable. I'm going to sort out this page now i've found the peldar tor quarry page on there. Cheers

I think the crag described here is Peldar Tor Quarry. Whitwick Quarry was filled in sometime in or before 2001. The top of Regalia Buttress(see p.136 of Leiceshire Climbs, 1993) is all that now remains. There is some decent bouldering left exposed; it is still a shame given that 20m routes have been buried.
