You gotta love the French style of climbing. La Balme de Thuy, France © ERU

Crag features

Bolted routes on good rock, although can be dusty in places. There are five different sectors with both single and multi pitch climbing. The main sector is the ones seen from the car park with the triangular roof called 'Berlin - Grand Toit'.

The sector above this (and on the cascade walking route) is called 'Passage de la Fenetre'. The other three sectors are called 'Collut des Petoles', 'Equilibre' and 'Otis'.

Approach notes

Located just south of Thones. Park in the parking for the archaeological site.
